Job Description

Our group belongs to the Project Coordination section, where Data/BIM Coordinators, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Quality Coordinators, and other project support functions work together to ensure efficient and quality-assured project management.

As a Data Coordinator at AFRY, you play a crucial role in maintaining high quality and clear structure in our infrastructure projects. You are responsible for ensuring that the project's digital project management is efficient, well-organized, and aligned with set requirements. By working closely with project management and technical leads, you have an active role in project coordination as well as quality and delivery assurance.

The role includes:

  • Driving and implementing efficient workflows to ensure information management is uniform and structured within the project
  • Supporting project management and the project team by providing guidance, training, and support in document and information management
  • Coordinating and quality-assuring deliverables, and responsible for delivering documents to the client's project area or document management system
  • Participating in review sessions and supporting project management with review routines to ensure high information quality in the project
  • Being the contact person for the client's specialist in digital project management
  • Contributing to various development activities to improve and streamline our ways of working

We are now looking for a driven and experienced Data Coordinator who wants to take an active role in our projects and ensure quality in both information management and deliverables!

For those with experience or interest, there are also opportunities to work with some of our other functions within the section.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have previous experience in data coordination. You should have good knowledge of the design process and understanding of the different phases in our projects, such as road or railway plans, system documents, construction documents, EPC contracts, and execution contracts.

We are looking for you who have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data coordination within civil engineering and infrastructure projects from a consultancy, contractor, or client side
  • Previous knowledge of information and document management systems (e.g., ProjectWise and Chaos)
  • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation
  • Good general computer skills

Meritorious:

  • Experience from Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration) projects
  • Knowledge in design and BIM/model coordination in 3D tools
  • Competence in programming, scripting, and automation

We prefer that you have an academic degree or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways, as well as good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
